I was laid off from Devry like 5 years ago after probably a dozen layoffs. There were a lot of little layoffs here and there that were mostly under the radae. I worked at online so we heard about them because there would be staff shake ups at campuses we worked with. I was already looking for a new job when I got laid off, so I was not sad to go. It was more like a weight off my shoulders. I got a new job with better pay, better hours, more appreciated, and now make a difference in the community. I had to move outside higher ed because after working at DeVry, it was like a stain on my resume to those in higher ed. I don't think there is hardly anyone left that I know there. I doubt it has gotten any better.
Any idea what this new turn of events with the $71 million? all the articles have stopped short of saying Devry will lose the ability to get federal financial aid, but I can see it happening. Devry used to be a good school, now it seems its just another overpriced predatory diploma mill.

You know for someone supposedly a Quaker, you don’t seem to value integrity all that much…just on here with your self-promotion and self-hated because you used to work at DeVry. And if you’re falsely on here misrepresenting yourself as an ex-employee, wow, what would the Quakers think of that?
