Are there people who have received raises they are satisfied with but are keeping mum or don't feel comfortable sharing because other people got screwed over? I'm curious mainly because it'd be good to know what percentage was treated right versus those of us who got the shaft. Maybe we really are the vocal minority, who knows.

2% raise, never got a bonus, both just like the majority of non management types in WF, even though I am considered a high performer.
Lied to last year about being over the 150 base (he said it was total compensation, not base). My last manager tried to get me fired (they fired him). This years manager has his own good old boys network with everyone in it having come from the same area. He said I am overpaid (even though I am under the old mid point and the fact that he says I do an "excellent job"). 2% raise this year, very low bonus. Over 25 years experience in high tech. Very marketable experience, even within WF, but I have been tied up in this department. Unfortunately, I need this job.
Got promoted to new position in August with a 20% salary increase. There was confusion on which line of business would be responsible for the annual bonus. I thought I would get nothing, but I ended up with 7% merit increase and 90% of annual bonus. I’m happy as he-l but I know it will not last long.
Last year no raise, I was part of the ‘Charlie says you make enough’ club. This year exceeds with 4% raise but very, very high bonus. Only problem is about 15% of bonus total is in RSUs that vest over 4 years. I’m actively looking to leave so that makes bonus about what I’ve gotten previous years.
Agree with other post - no incentive to exceed. I don’t want to stagnate and become bitter so I’m looking to leave.
no raise and decrease in bonus from last year. I am in the same job title with the fake managers designated by my manager to lessen his work. I have the least tenure so manager has to rate me at the bottom of the curve. A peer got promoted and got a chunk of the pie despite being on extended leave for more than half of the year .
Exceeds - 3% increase. Less than last year. No incentive to exceed.
Same as last year, both raise and bonus. The raise does not cover inflation.
Liked, "Chuckles and his Merry Band of overpaid Jackholes"
Meh, neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. based on my review, did not expect much, didn't care either way.
still work there and they still pay me.
I would like to hear from folks who don't get bonuses. Some of us are not in bonus eligible positions and only have the low merit raise to depend on. I would like to see the average for merit raise amongst the non bonus eligible folks.
3% raise, promotion and higher bonus % funded at 100%, so yeah, happy this year.
Between last year at 4% and this year at 3.17% raise I sit now at 7.17 % raise in the last two years and the bonus was about the same so Yes I am happy, but happiness only lasts a short time. Like being on a ride at the fair... still looking, maybe leaving, but the RTO is the true defining factor in if I leave or if I stay... Time will tell.. I know I am not alone with the feeling.
Quote from a famous person:
That is all I have to say about that!! LOL
Yes, I'm satisfied with my merit increase. It's above inflation and brings me significantly closer to the formerly listed MRP for my job title. It finally feels like it's for merit, rather than a percentage sp-t out by some outdated corporate financial model.
At the same time, I feel bad for those who didn't get an increase. I'm not a fan of that since it stung an awful lot every time it happened to me, 2020 included. Tragically, that makes me more appreciative of what I received this year.
Don't worry your merit was put to good use building out basketball courts and dance centers in India.
Decent bonus and cr-p raise.
Only 2% raise but a decent bonus. My manager is great and super flexible so I may stay put for a bit at least until we see how RTO works out. Grass isn’t always greener my previous manager was horrible so glad to have a good one.
My raise didn’t even match inflation in a low inflation year.
Play their game. Save and invest as much as you can and as early as you can. If you don’t make money as an employee, make it as a shareholder. As a shareholder, you own them.
Would have preferred a severance package, but my raise and bonus were higher than I expected…mostly because I expected nothing.
nope, didn’t even try to touch inflation
No - its the same ole. Pay for performance is a joke. If you work for a favorite you can get a bit more but the truth is the only people making a ton of money are those that are at the top. My resume is ready to go and I am done with Chuckles and his Merry Band of overpaid Jackholes.
I got nothing but I'm overpaid anyhow. Just getting a bonus is fine with me although a layoff would be nice.
No raise, make too much apparently. Does that rule apply to Shart and his cronies?
I am satisfied
I got a solid 7.5% raise in base and 100% of previous bonus which is probably the largest “merit” I’ve seen since I’ve been here. So that part is great!
However, I am at the very low end of the pay range for my position and with the change in year end comp structure, it seems that I could be set to make less in total comp in 2022 than in 2021. That part really doesn’t sit right with me.
