Last year it was actually communicated that >$150k base wouldn't get a merit raise. I didn't see a similar thing this year, but heard a rumor that same but bumped to the $200k level. True?
I know there are probably exceptions if someone was under what used to be MRP. And this is out of curiosity about what happened, not a "woe is me" before anyone starts attacking.
There was no hard-fast rule that those making $200k or more in salary couldn't get a merit. However, there wasn't any merit $'s budgeted for those making $200k+. Therefore, managers could absolutely give someone making $200k+ in salary a merit, they just had to take that money from someone else on their team to do it.
I'm in the >150 but <200 crowd. Last year 0 merit and bonus target was 30% but I got around 22%. I also got LTI but less ~15% less than previous years of $10k.
This year 4% raise and 47% bonus with ~20% in LTI I won't be here to collect. I've had enough.
I can't complain about the money but the stress is just too much. We've had 3 people go on medical leave and it's just intense.

manager here - yes, the guidance this year was no increase over 200K - last year was no increase over 150K
156k base. Last year zero, this year 1.75% base raise. Also not meant to be "woe is me" just want to add that while it is something, with inflation, etc, I'm taking matters into my own hands by spending less to balance it out.
Just under $200K no raise but then again, there was no expectation of one. I thought they said over $150K would get nothing so folks making less could get a bump.
For the benefit of Post ID: @pkb+1f3buzl6 - only got here after many many years of 2% and 3% compounding. Put in the time and you'll be there as well or go work somewhere else that pays better.
Under 200k and got a small raise. Last year, no raise.
150 isn't a lot of money though if you live in CA or NYC.
Didn't get a raise last year for 2020 with base > $150k. Got one this year for 2021; base under $200k. MRP no longer applies effective with 2021 comp year.
I feel really bad for anyone making that much money who didn't get a raise.
