That's my raise. I can take a hint. I'll be out of here within three months.

The funny thing about the line "don't like it leave to another company" is that it sounds similar to "don't support BLM, you are a bigot."
It's the same liberal tactic you see, offer a dissenting opinion they try to silence you.
Discussions are built on understanding each other, something people refuse to do nowadays bc it takes work and a brain.
Not sure the reason you got 6.5 increase last year but less this year. I got 3 rate, never got better rate due to a bad manager. But my raise is 3.8 and they told me just citi average because they do not want me to feel good. The highest raise I got was 8 percent but manager then told me I m not important at all. Not sure what s more imporatant , raise or rate. And company spent more money but manager tried to beat down motivation
The raise this year for Jane Fraser worked out pretty good. So that’s a plus right?
See, its not all bad.
Bonuses/Raises at Citi are insulting, check out the competition, they pay very well.
Citi is so out of touch. They hinge on the cult mentality of company loyalty but don’t want to compensate for it, so people leave..
If the money is available after someone puts in notice.
It was available before they put in a notice.
Want to keep your best people? Pay them.
Yeah and that’s about it…..
Congrats - you kept the lights on.
Life if about choices, if you don’t like your life, maybe its time to make better choices. Maybe its time for a different job at a different company.

As another poster commented on suits. I’m sure these guys got huge bonuses, you know for giving away 400 million to the wrong company last year.
“ Nothing instills confidence like listening to suits with a spray on tan and overly sized glow in the dark bonded teeth. Like those cheesy used car salesmen you see in the movies “So, shall I draw up the paperwork Bob?” When you see and hear that same persona in meetings, you can’t help but reach for your wallet to make sure its still there and wonder what else are they going to try and sell me?”
Right, hr decides the amount, but your manager decides your rank.
Sounds like the pompous over paid new Yorker got 15 percent and is bragging... got a flat bonus too
That’s right…rub it in. Make sure he knows you got a lot more than he did, that’ll help his situation. Well done sir. Classic citi.
What group /area are you in? Mine was similar but with the decimal place shifted over.
From my experience, the direct manager has little to no say in the rating or the increase amount.
Yeah but you have to basically bend over backwards to get a two and forwards for a one. Its completely subjected to your managers feelings about you….
Don’t take it personal guys. This post sums it up rather nicely.

I always thought it was funny when they give you a high ranking but minimal raise.
Supposedly if you rank an “x” you’re locked into at least “whatever” percentage of a raise, clearly not for all groups.
You’re ranked a 1, you get 1.5%, sorry no money in the budget.
You’re ranked a 2, you get 1.5%, sorry no money in the budget.
Etc….
You got 1.5% more than me.
I see no reason to stay where I'm not respected.
