Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Who will be AT&T's next CEO?

Post WM close, JTS will need to pull the rip cord on the golden parachute. Which current leader is next?

Rowan Atkinson, P-e Wee Herman come to mind. Carrot top has an outside shot as well. Any non insider would be an improvement

Knight and Chow and about 1/3 of the officer team will be gone by mid-year 2022. Operation lighten the dead weight in full swing.

Kelly King will be everyone’s boss.

We need someone who can actually sale and close deals.

No decent technocrat would want the job anyway, vendors are pretty much making all the strategic decisions.

There are really no long termers left after John. He was groomed early for that job. He's got 5-6 years left before he goes, he will find someone.

If it was 10 years ago, it’d been McElfresh, without question. Nowadays I don’t think he stands much of a chance. Chow seems to be the logical choice. Already in a CEO title, well known and respected throughout the corporate world. Knight would make sense for some of the same reasons but doesn’t have the same clout as Chow. And isn’t nearly as articulate.

"Need an outsider"

Yup. That's why it'll never happen.

McElfresh is immature leader and lacks integrity. God help us if the BOD selects him.

Stankey won’t go, he knows more than anyone about everything! Plus, he likes flying private to the Masters, belonging to the top country club in dallas, watching himself on town halls, roaming the Warner media lot like he’s someone…ya know, important CEO stuff!

Why wouldn't Stankey leave? He will get a multi-million salary as a consultant, use of corporate jets anytime he wants, and corporate credit cards to purchase anything he wants. Why stay unless he just wants to continue to annoy rank and file.

Stanley is not leaving anytime soon, he’s only turning 60 this year. Why give up millions per year in wages for a job that apparently doesn’t matter if you’re good at it or not.

No, Chow is 2nd on the list.

Number 1: The totally worthless POS Marachel Knight checks off all the WOKE buttons, plus she is the d-mbest, laziest, most incompetent person which makes her perfect to replace the Stink!

Toxic T cannot attract anyone good externally as a CEO. Too bad Bernie Ebbers died in prison - he would have been perfect.

Chow would be an excellent choice for our woke company. Not that she has the slightest ability to run a large company, but she's a minority and a female. At the woke AT&T image is all that matters, even if it is completely fake.

Stink is not going anywhere unless he is paid off big time. He enjoys S C R E W I N G over US based employees almost as much as he enjoys being over paid for his $hitty performance.

There is still much, much more damage for the Stink to do!
