Ascension once again dropped the ball and did not foresee the enormous amount of volume before taking on a task which resulted in employees leaving and thousands of patients and associates without their medications
The lack of due diligence and strong leadership continues to plague this entire company.

We all had no choice but to switch to the new Ascension pharmacy. After going a full month without diabetic and bp meds, the call center said I could just get my meds at the CVS. However, insurance would not pay a penny. They make no appologies about the failure. The demanded we use their cr-p services then they didn't even try to provide that service. Employees shoulder the whole cost with no reimbursement. We keep going from bad to worse, but they are able to create some new leadership positions. I am working on my resume.
