It will be interesting.

The average Verizon wireless consumer does not care about 5G whatsoever. It’s just a dog and pony show to remain relevant in commercials. Our 4G is degrading and the company os not fixing the issues.

This is how we know that @2mnk+1f7Vj3RZ knows very little, because the previous 'woke set' sold off all of the strong cashflow markets to weak telecom providers while keeping the less profitable markets. These are the same jokes that pushed go90 and huffington post and selling off the towers and ceding the dark fiber business to smarter competitors. The company really has turned into a globalist clowncar with customers who are inconveniently domesitc.

Not no more. Verizon sold that union bloat crud off in 2014. Soon all FiOS will be sold off.

"Yeah my FiOS works great in Chicago, Denver, Dallas and Phoenix! Oh wait it isn't in any of those cities and never will be."

Keller, Texas in DFW was the very 1st FiOS market.

I am amazed at the unschooled cheerleaders who post prowoke pablum here about the company and have no idea what they are talking about outside of the talking points that they were given.

The 'strategists' and the company soiled themselves and shareholders first aol and resulting nonsense, then into 5G which is really unready for primetime. Hans the former CEO of a telecom parts maker sold the board on the need to buy billions of more in parts for products that the customers do not want.

Almost none of the executives now have any real grasp of the AMERICAN market. It really is embarrassing. So go ahead cheerleaders vote down and push for more H1Bs. This too shall pass.

Just childish posts. The 4Q earnings proved that not only is 5G going to be a huge asset, but so is FiOS. Each product is different from the other and used for different situations. That being said, they will both live alongside each other. Apparently those of you voicing negative comments towards 5G or FiOS do not have a clue about what you are talking about. Both products are assets to this company and will continue to be so in the future. Now go back to work and stop the ridiculous behavior of which is better, should the union go, and the same for wireless stores. These are people's jobs that help maintain their household. Both are great technologies and what everyone should be doing is working on improving our stock.

The article says we turned on 5100 in January. So an additional 2000 is a nice jump up. The real metric though is how many people will actually see 5G speeds on a day to day basis. I don't care if some guy in the city can get 5G speeds, when will I see it?

Whats going to be a distant memory soon is company owned wireless stores. I mean I recently changed carriers, bought new phones and picked my plan online without a hitch for half the cost of Verizon. Phones delivered in 2 days and activated the day I received them. So, just exactly what does anyone need the wireless store for?

Woohoo! FiOS and it's union workforce will just be a distant memory before long. Just like home telephones!
