If you’re really after NY, grades J, K, L, M and you want that kind of compensation then you certainly could become the first ever to find what you need on an Internet Layoff Board.

Seriously, network face to Face. You might be able to do it. If not you learn about yourself.

I was a K in NYC with a salary of $116k which was on the low end. Def saw K’s upwards of $140k. This was in asset servicing. Use this info in your year end to get more money from this sht ho-e of a company.

How can you not know there’s such a thing as salary bands? Every job in the world has a floor and a ceiling for pay.

I am a woman that is more qualified than my male colleagues in terms of both years of experience and education. I have received "exceeded expectations" reviews every year since I was hired. I've had to sit back and watch men be promoted year after year over me. Appears to me that being a loud blowhard male that speaks over women is more important than competence at BNYM. So much for commitment to diversity. A bunch of faux woke BS.

I have had enough and will be leaving after bonuses are paid.

@1mxu,

And everyone knows you can't discriminately based on race and gender unless it's to choose a vp or supreme court justice

There are NO separate bands for men verses women.
That would be illegal.

Now it IS possible that genders may not be paid the same and that is just wrong, but those things should be on the way out and/or already gone also.

If there is a pay gap and the woman, or man, is performing at the same levels as their peers, then you have the options to complain to your manager, you can threaten to leave, and of course you can just leave.

You can also document your concerns on your performance approval, or record, although the new appraisals are a piece of garbage, so harder to do in the new system.

Why would someone actually think that a salary range for grade-something in Pittsburgh would be the same dollars in New York, or TN, or India, or, etc.

Makes no sense.
