It’s very important to stay marketable, but it’s not that easy. I thought that the experience I gained here during 4 years would make me more marketable, but that is not the case. What is the best way to stay marketable? What are you doing to stay marketable? Please share your experiences.

You are marketable. You just need someone to help you put that on resume.
Being marketable is a mindset thing as much as a 'how you project yourself to others' thing. Very much like the 4Ps in marketing.
I am in IT and there are plenty of resources to keep up to date. From MSDN to OWASP to youtube to user group meetings to new groups. One of my favorite youtubers for learning new MS stuff is IamTimCorey.
