Pre-pandemic I wasn’t afraid of being around other people/being exposed to COVID, plain and simple. And you don’t need to be rude in your response. I simply replied to the original question honestly.

Yeah, pretty easy to spot those “leaving Chevron messages” on LinkedIn, and, contrary to what the complacent trolls on this board would have you think, they aren’t sh!t roles at sh!t companies.
I saw 6 "leaving chevron" posts on LinkedIn on Friday.
If you’re on LinkedIn and connected to as many chevronites as possible, you’ll see everyone that’s leaving across the company, what function they were in, and what industries they’re landing in. People are securing their future.
"Enjoying taking it easy, not working hard, doing the bare minimum. Next job not rushing me."
OMG, I just can't fathom CVX having any practical or sound reasoning behind requiring workers to come in instead of screwing around at home collecting a paycheck. LMAO!
@1zuz so were you OK with the job and benefits prior to the pandemic? What was keeping you from seeking a remote cushy job prior to the pandemic? I mean, everyone would like a cushy remote high-paying job with great benefits that's better than the one they have now, right? What's your point and what's so special about it?
If I can find a fully remote job, with similar pay/benefits, I will leave. I really wish CVX would allow fully remote work for those who wish to pursue it.
I agree with @aub - I picked up second gif working remotely. Hard me to leave this dream job. My main skill is PowerPoint engineering. My side gig is my business selling my woodwork. My furniture store is booming.
When will they adapt and make full remote an option
Got the paperwork all set to go. Enjoying taking it easy, not working hard, doing the bare minimum. Next job not rushing me. Maybe in a month or so.
I’m leaving in a couple of months. Probably for a worse paying job. Which is fine. This place is a nightmare
Our sc----m master quit in the middle of our sprint.
It’s paid. “Buy low, sell high”. The old adage sounds easy but do you have the stomach to sell cvx now and maybe even jump ship? I hope so. There’s a war going on. Those don’t happen often. You’ll look like a genius in hindsight. Act. This is the time.
@abx+1fAO0Pha Y’all can be really dense. Obviously the OP posted that it’s paid because it IS paid. Often we get paychecks early. I got mine this am.
Actively applying for remote-only positions. Lots out there!
@aub+1fAO0Pha I found a job, pays the same, same benefits, all remote.
CIP is paid on the 7th in the US!.. After that... Come Monday.....lets see the number that exists
No-Way!!!!
Definitely looking... it's going to be hard walking away from Chevron's 3-day a week, 2-hours per day work schedule.
