That survey monkey that was sent out was BS. You’ll get charged if you don’t call in and request cancellation. There is no loyalty offer either for T employees.

Blaming the customers for not reading will take you far.
DTV Employee Account Management Team confirmed that those who had submitted opt out in the survey will have their accounts canceled. The real question is, can you take DTV at their word as there isn't any confirmation that you ever submitted the survey? Or, take 30 seconds to login to your account, hit cancel, and move on.
It said it was a survey not a cancellation request form, if you couldn’t figure that out by simply reading the email then that’s on you and deserved to be screwed, lol. The email linked you to a page that explained to you that if you didn’t cancel then depending on what service you had and package it showed you what your new bill cost would be. I cancelled literally the day after the email by logging into the DTV app and choosing canceled subscription in the accounts settings section. It was that simple.
I have ki---d payment method just in case too
sounds like another well executed att plan. you can't make this stuff up
You have to call the employee discount line to cancel. I just canceled mine.

Just got off the phone. They had no record of cancellation.
Just another underhanded ripp off courtesy of at&t!
Who cares if T is tracking cancellations. They outpriced most employees out of the service without the discount anyway. Just drove us to competitors.
“This company is being run by mo--ns.”
The first indicator should have been a corporate survey implemented through SurveyMonkey.
The survey monkey form didn’t have any confirmation or receipt, that should tell you something. Call and get the cancellation in writing. If this is how the game is played, so be it. I’ll call during my work hours too, go ahead and put me on hold. This company is being run by mo--ns.
I called DirecTV to verify that I canceled service as an employee. They had no record. Apparently the survey monkey did nothing. You MUST call 800-531-5000 with your account number if you want to disconnect the service, it cannot be done online.
Yep, not a wise decision for a current employee to cancel.
T is tracking account cancellations.
