You realize these rankings are bought and paid for, right? And considering some of the regions we are in, yea we may be better than Foxconn (who had to install su-cide nets years back) but does that really say anything?

It's called hiring new in career (zero industry knowledge), hiring to meet g9overnment eeoc numbers, giving them positions and money the they are absolutely incompetent for and more money than those that have been producing and better suited, hire a huge community of off shored or H1B clowns that would be pushing shovels elsewhere. This slag company is nothing but some garbage social justice, rainbowed freak funding source. It is not a center of innovation. How do you think they vote? Add what cisco paid to the company doing the survey and there you have it - a wiener.

These awards are "pay to play". Essentially it's buying a prize and then touting it to the world. If you need to be involved in something as fake this then there are clearly massively culture issues internally.

The company that works the process best wins. First, companies submit lengthy descriptions of how they are wonderful at promoting diversity, "enabling their workforce", and creating a "culture of excellence". You can tell by how the inquiry is worded what they are looking for...you give them what they want to hear. Then, you agree to an audit. That's where a guided tour is given to reinforce submissions. Finally, a survey is engineered by selecting a sample of respondents within the company most likely to provide the desired results. And, the next thing you know you're a best place to work! You gotta play if you want to win.
