Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

I quit today

After 7 years with HON I've submitted my resignation today. I've reached the point in my life where a part time job will be enough to cover me with healthcare and a modest income will take care of my modest spend.

I feel exalted and a great burden has been lifted off my shoulders. I wanted to share this with everyone, the feeling is amazing, liberating. I wish you all the best and I honestly hope the company improves and puts more emphasis on making things (that matter to the worker much) better.

Cheers!!!

The pathetic thing about Honeywell (especially Aero) is that they don't give a damn when you leave. They think everyone is replaceable and could care less about losing talent - until they can't make their numbers or are getting beat up by Corporate about the attrition rate. Right now they can't understand why current employees don't appreciate "everything" that is done for them. I've never seen a more tone deaf "leadership" team.

6 months from now, your coworkers will look back and say to themselves, "what was that person's name? Oh well, they didn't matter much, anyway.".

I quit working years ago and they never noticed or cared. Still got BLK 1/2 and 4 ratings. That place is a joke and jokers are running it.

I love money so I won’t quit and prefer to be abused.
Sometimes I have to stand by while colleagues are getting screwed but one good dinner later or watching a show on broadway and I feel better.

I quit working in 2009. Still go to the office every day and none of my mgrs have stayed long enough to notice me. Perma block 5.

Yeah I’m at the point where if I found something to just cover our expenses I’d be fine. Retirement account has more than enough. It won’t take much to aggravate me to do the same.

I am in a similar situation as you but waiting until that bonus comes into my bank account to give my notice.
