so since the company is cutting down employees aren't the branch managers supposed to step up and help the team such as opening accounts? wires? credit cards etc? cause mine definitely is letting us drown

My manager takes all sales and the bankers do service

There is a misconception of what falls to the managers plate. Many not sitting in that seat don't know. Not saying there aren't a few bad ones, but the expectations over the managers head are pretty difficult to achieve. If you want a successful branch and want higher levels within the company, what more could you offer and suggest that would make a positive impact? True leaders stand out in difficult situations, everyone in the company should act as one, no matter their position.
You have access to that information. Just look at their PM&R. The answer is no. Unless it gets changed.
