I think some of this is propaganda for our enemies to consume. No way are we doing all of that unless it’s funded by the gov.

Most of the employees have no idea how things work. You are considered lucky if you have a mentor that bring you up to the speed. Most of the people do not have training/mentor. Some of people in CPO claimed that they are consultant yet they have no knowledges/foundations to execute the projects. Imagine you are learning how to drive from a driving instructor that never driven a car before. In some of the project, there are more than 90% of the people talk about planning and nobody is doing the work.

Intel wants to be the McDonald's of semiconductors. Sell inferior products at massive volume and low margin. Hoping that customers who can't afford TSMC's 2 and 3 nm will use Intel. They will know the product is worse but will use it anyway out of convenience.
