Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Fanatical or Irrational

Pat likes to call you fanatical, so you all know the definition of fanatical?

“ filled with excessive and single-minded zeal”

Other words used “zealous” “extremist”

Is that really you or should you GTFO before you get laid off?

Intel and been been larger and the great irony probably the only time in its history where it is hiring at record salaries and yet revenue is soft and margins are dropping.

But you got a fanatical leader who loves his fanatical employees till he gives you notice of layoff as a necessary next step to correct decades of missed opportunities and another missed pivot

I actually did leave before getting laid off. I spent way too much time at same grade level but more than that my group had changed softare dev tools so seemed like a good thing to do. I dont make quite as much but its very close and a totally better env.

Come on. Intels plans have ZERO chance of success. They are pinning hopes on government chip act money that cant and wont pass the house. This is ludicrous that anyone believes these plans will come to fruition. All the while Intel get further and further behind the leaders. Intel can only hope China destroys Taiwan and pushes the government in the US to act on bringing tech home.

Best laid prayers and belief in destiny don’t make for reality and religious and fanatical are dangerous!

CEO may put out vision, you hire and pay people to tell you the truth not fanatical followers.

Sounds like messiah has found a bunch of fanatical followed

This same mo--n thinks that not being a Pat fan means you’re a BK fan.

It’s possible to think they’re both clowns.

Use your brain. I know it’s hard to do with such limited capacity.

Pat didn’t lay you off, BK did. Why are you so adamant about bringing him back?

Stockholm syndrome
