Let's go back to the basics, let's discuss layoffs.
When is the next layoff here at Wells Fargo?

Have you read the 2022 severance policy? They give almost all possible reasons to not be eligible for severance, including changing job titles, schedules and even job descriptions. They will just move people to different positions where employees are needed even if it's unrelated work. I don't think we'll see the layoffs we used to based on the new policy.
There is a company policy. Enforcement will at the team levels.
Not one bit. The tardiness thing must be some departmental thing. Definitely not company wide.
Next big layoff is 3/17...good luck.
“…One big one coming soon for a bunch of people who broke some rules the company had set months ago…”
Does this have anything to do with the new tardiness policy I wonder?
@1hef Good. How du/mb would you have to be to not get the vaccination to begin with, let alone falsify bank documentation about it. Those people deserve to be fired.
My guess is it has to do with being less than truthful about vaccination status and taking time away for said vaccination status falsely.
Would you be willing to shine some light on those reasons?
“ One big one coming soon for a bunch of people who broke some rules the company had set months ago” - do you know what rules?
Well, here's hoping.

Yes, I do. I know the exact reasons.

The people who refuse RTO aren't even on the list. It's low priority as long as work gets done. One big one coming soon for a bunch of people who broke some rules the company had set months ago, then a relatively quiet period, then a bunch more in July, then another relatively quiet period, then a big one in September.

WIM will go long before mortgage ever does. They are shifting jobs to other departments as they need to in mortgage. You must be the person who posts all of the false info about WF selling mortgage.
As soon as they sell off a chunk of mortgage.
I heard tech will be affected.
There haven't been any mass layoffs for a while now, because they're waiting to see how many people insisting they'll leave after RTO will actually put their money where their mouth is.
Once they confirm it was all just talk (like everyone who insisted they were quitting as soon as bonus hit), they'll start rolling out layoffs again. They haven't seen anywhere near the self-selected arbitration they were hoping for yet.

They're not wrong. I resigned and I know a few others who did as well.
Forced, unnecessary RTO is, in a way, no-cost layoffs.
Per shareholder call, WF clearly stated they were wanting and expecting "self-selected" headcount reduction (i.e., resignations) due to changes implemented.
Nice company we work for (NOT).
I am hoping to get some insight from this thread, let's see what kinf of info we can collect

Started today. Next question.
