Does IBM still have Development in China? I'm certain Development will not move back to the US, but I'm not sure where it would go. There was some movement to Mexico before I left IBM. Or maybe IBM is getting out of hardware altogether....

My product still has a Dev lab in China, but the long term plan is to wind it down and consolidate with the India location because of concerns about IP protection, etc.
China research lab was shuttered not too long ago because of IP theft.
I would hope the world would cut off China if they invaded Taiwan just the same as they are cutting off Russia for invading Ukraine.
Cutting off China is going to be a lot harder because its trade exports are way way bigger than Russia's. Plus if they invade Taiwan I'd think the 1st thing the Taiwanese would do would be to destroy all the chip making factories. That is going to hurt bad! I don't think the Chinese are that stupid. As we've found out, the Russians (well at least Putin) are stupid.
Will cancel culture sanction China if they invade Taiwan?
Or are they all hypocrites willing to turn a blind eye?
