Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Trapped

The Fed is trapped: It can’t raise too much since trillions of debt rely on very low rates. If it doesn’t raise enough then inflation will cause a recession.

1brg+1fMVOwD4 must have paid cash for their house and live in a town without any roads because the town is saving up to buy some road makin' stuff.

1brg+1fMVOwD4 must not understand history or how big things that pay for themselves later get done.

But good for 1brg+1fMVOwD4 for being so brave to show their ignorance without shame on the World Wide Web.

So be it. Boomers gift to the rest of us. The legacy is rather sad but a reality at the end. Logic would dictate a deflationary outcome, but here we are discussing about inflation.

Why do you think they're pushing a central bank digital currency conversion for the USD? (See Project Hamilton happening with Boston Fed and MIT, recent executive order on cryptocurrency which was very CBDC focused, etc.) They see a CBDC USD as the way out of this corner they're backed into. Cantillon Effect, inability to bring interest rates negative prior to current inflation environment, etc. But the CBDC will also allow for granular control on users and transactions in a way not possible with the USD today. It's a dark future with a CBDC USD.
