Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

If you are discriminated against ...

In the event you face discrimination at WF (or any other company), immediately work with a lawyer. They are very good about burning 90-days from the date of event to make it difficult for you to have a case. Document your case early, don't doubt yourself.

HR will even suggest medical leave, taking time off, or opening a case internally. None of these are designed for your benefit. It's all about burning out the clock to make your next action as far away from the discriminatory event as possible.

And if you haven't noticed, Diversity & Inclusion is about WF not getting sued. They have no interest in hiring internally to promote POC with experience, working with your disability to make accommodations, or improving the environment.

The RTO force is one example, commuting creates pollution and forces disability disclosure. To those who are leaking detail here, lawyer up and stop wasting your time. Focus your efforts on documentation, legal advice, or finding another position.

Very true. A high performer in one of those groups, have been a leader before, never promoted at WF after several years.

OP here. HR is strong with these replies. Even those LGBTIA+, POC, disabled, or other groups (each with their own Team Member Network) don't get promotions if internal. Outsiders from JPM leapfrog are highly qualified individuals. My point is to speak up quickly with a lawyer if you feel there has been any discrimination.

Op is insane. The only discrimination happening is against white straight males. Thank goodness I'm none of those. It's like having a target on your back. Want to get fast tracked to leadership? Be bipoc, lgbtq+, or female.

Life is hard for everyone, and a sub-segment of our society's culture has decided that their lack of a perfect life is the result of conspiratorial discrimination at work.
