EIGHT safety recalls on a single Ford vehicle

The 2021 Ford F-150 has seven other recalls listed on the federal site, which is required when vehicles may present a safety threat:

Damaged driveshaft may fracture (Dec. 16, 2021).

Front door side impact sensors damaged (Oct. 15, 2021).

Front seat belt webbing is routed incorrectly (Aug. 23, 2021).

Electronic brake booster may leak (July 15, 2021).

Damaged steering gear may cause steering loss (May 29, 2021).

Two-piece driveshafts may disconnect (May 24, 2021).

Inadequate windshield bonding (Feb. 18, 2021).

@1eae: Recalling the recall has happened at Ford. Some of the Fusions, Escapes, and other vehicles recalled for potential door latch defects were recalled again because the wrong parts were used for some of the recall repairs.

Ford has accepted that customers will be the ones to discover issues with engineering, assembly, cost reductions, and reliability. Why do costly testing when customers will tell us what goes wrong. Works well until we don’t have customers.

1aea,

LOL, recalls are no big deal? You do realize that the dealerships CHARGE Ford for the repairs? Quality and warranty losses are in the Billions! Farley mentioned cuts are needed due company losses. How about YOU lose you job to these losses? Not to mention the customers that are fed up with constant repairs due to recalls and other quality issues.

You act like recalls are a bad thing. Look at the bright side, the vehicles are getting fixed. Just hope that the recall fix doesn't get recalled. That would be bad.

Just wait until we have 4000 pound EV exploding bo--s humming down the road in mass.

This company cares about one thing, deadlines. To the detriment of all else.

Best way ford can solve these issues is to outsource their products to toyota, honda or even to tesla. Let them test overall hw/software, calibration. Ford can not do anything right in right way now. Even dealers are frustrated with ford.

@OP

Relentlessly, advertise, advertise, advertise!!!
The power of the media is staggering. Why would anyone vote for Brandon? Anything will sell with enough advertising. What quality issues?
