Got a meeting invite to a technology "town hall" with Guy 03/25.
The ol "You may not see a certain name on this invitation because we are sending several invitations in parallel, each with a different list of recipients" statement was at the bottom. Anyone who is legacy FD knows this was usually included in meetings that turned into a RIF message.

Guy made the SVP J.M. a Distinguished Engineer. WTF, he was already a SVP, why not save that title for actual engineers. Now doing get me wrong J.M. would be a better Engineer than a SVP but still, Distinguished Engineers have no value when you give them to SVP's making over a million a year already. Slap in the face was what that was. Hopefully they re-think that whole thing.

How about it is a meeting to celebrate our wonderful Distinguished and Exceptional Engineers. How about it is to share progress on our product strategy and client deliveries.
Possibly or it could be just a townhall... that has been standard on messages for awhile.
More than likely it will be a townhall about how we need to do more with less. Quicker, better, cheaper. A story about how he is the top tech person at Fiserv. You know the two hour meeting that you leave and think, they sure talked a long time but never really said anything.
