I’ve worked here for almost 10 years and haven’t seen global or MPO do or provide any value….these upcoming layoffs should clean house in these orgs starting with the top down!

Not sure what team you work for but MPO does a vast majority of the work in the grow. Consistently cleaning up the mess created by DSM.
KH is the similar to Vlad Putin if you ask me. MPO is fake news!
Not sure where the comment on Global is coming from... who do you think manages the business at an Inc. level? Who communicates Earnings to shareholders? You think North America can speak to results in APLA or manage product diverts to other geos when Chinese consumers are boycotting the brand? There are essential roles in Global just like the essential roles in the geographies. MPO does need to get their sh-t together though...
@7tup the sad thing is that this team has been under investigation repeatedly over the last few years. CDA was the cover for some house cleaning but it is hard to clean up a team with problems that run this deep

I actually looked this team up internally because it’s been brought up so many times on this forum (had not heard of it before) and as much as I agree with the previous poster around “work is work, that department has nothing to do with me” I do hope that these complaints are getting looked at by leaders in that space - this many negative comments around one department and one leader is worth investigation.
I often work with MPO both global and geo. Yes, they are bad, really bad. However, that is them and I couldn’t care less about how bad they are. The Who Nike culture is characterized by zero accountability and people take full advantage of this culture by electing to not do anything because no one will call them out. I just do my job to the best of my ability, treat everyone with kindness including those who do not deserve it, collect my pay and benefits, and give Nike zero thoughts after 5 pm on weekdays and weekends/holidays/ PTO. It is just a job. Nothing more.
Has anyone making fun of this person actually worked in or with mpo? It’s horrible! Let the person rant… and KH makes the geo worse than global (at least when I worked there back in 2018) but if you’re talking pure uselessness then I’m going to have to vote for global
MPO rant? You’re probably one of the lazy id--ts who just bends over for KH. If this part of the business was let go, not one person would know the difference
