Thread regarding Ford layoffs

AICP 2022

Will the metrics and targets be transparently reviewed in a town hall? Will Ford Blue and Ford e have different targets?

Raise your hand if you have ever wanted to stand up and say — Liar Liar Pants On Fire in Ford — “leadership communication” meetings.
Raise your other hand if you frequently want to stand up and say —Liar Liar Pants On Fire in —Ford “leadership communication” meetings.
I am betting nearly everyone has both hands raised.

The reason that this was announced hastily is because it got leaked to the press. So leadership had to scramble to put something together. Jimmy lied and said the split wasn't going to happen and a week later the split was announced. No time to tell the underlings.

Previous poster is correct. There is no trust of senior management. They do not motivate people in a positive way. So, wander people gave up on this company. If this EV plan fails and they do not keep the real & current money maker "F-SERIES" updated and improved quality. "No Bucks'. No Buck Rogers"!
JF is a phony. You look at him and the senior management on that stage it makes one very sick. They tell us there is a problem or we have been doing it wrong. but instead, they need to look in a mirror first to see the problems. Glad I am retired. but I see nothing but a circus. The clown led by JF trying to spew BS that is not realistic and made up of Pie in the sky pipe dreams. Just remember folks BILLY nearly ran this company into chapter 11. His own family fired him. He is in way over his head. He is not a leader. He is boring like Farley. You need a double shot of expresso to keep awake when they speak.

@OP. I would be less worried for the AICP in 2022, and more worried for layoffs. No job = no AICP.

BTW, the lack of transparency from upper management is on everything: AICP, layoffs, even short term future plans (I mean, not even the LL3 were aware of the company splitting). While we keep the same upper management, we'd have the same lack of transparency.
