Are telecommuters required to return all of the office and desk equipment they were issued by the company when they leave? I know I’ll have to send my laptop and corporate ID back, but curious if anyone was required to return their monitors, keyboard, desk, chair, etc. It seems a bit pointless to me for them to chase down all of the other equipment because I don’t believe they refurbish anything but the laptops

Needed to return my laptop, docking station, key card, and monitor when I retired last year.
I had to return my laptop, monitor, printer and headset. They didn't want the keyboard, mouse and other random stuff but I sent it all back anyway because they were cr-p.
My manager was pretty pist about my departure and made me return everything. No one on the team likes her. Matter of fact, they hate her stupid voice! She thinks she’s so likable but she can’t even present for the position. Always looked like an id--t at meetings with clients. I’m so glad I left! I was well paid but over worked so it truly was not enough money for all the cr-p they put me through. GTFO! They don’t care about you!

I was required to return my laptop, docking station, and printer. The return request stated that monitors, keyboard, headset, mouse, etc. did not need to be returned. I have been employed by a much better company for the past 2 months that actually gives a sh-t about their employees. So, I am glad UHG fired me…their loss. They must like losing good employees.
They actually didn't want my headset back which surprised me. It was almost two weeks after quitting before they sent the box for my laptop. I just threw the ID badge away.
I did not have a desk and chair but I was required to return monitors, keypad, headset. Basically anything that belonged to UHC. I also lost my vacation time.
