Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How was Monday?

For those who went in, were there more people than last week? I guess there's no way to determine how many are going in without looking at the whole week, but I think it'd still be good to know if this Monday had more or fewer employees show up than last week. It could give us some idea, at least.

OP here: “At 15% capacity on Monday and 33% on Tuesday. I'm tracking it so I know which days are the least crowded. A complete waste of time, as we all suspected.”
I went up and down the aisles and counted :)

I show up at 6:30. I’ll find your cube and snag it next week

not a fan of this unassigned seating. I am going in at 7 to be the first one so I can get same cube each time.

@sef This is a great idea. It'll be interesting to see the numbers for the full week.

Curious. Where do you find the data to get your percentages? Are these just estimates?

Same large group. We are all in now. No going back. Gas prices are a pain.

Our whole area was full today—zero desks available a couple people had to sit in another zone which hasn’t returned to office yet

not sure how so many people are getting away with not abiding by one of the requirements of their job

About 10% of capacity, I'd guess.

My colleague said he was the only one on the entire floor yesterday. He said isn't coming in anymore. 1.5 hour commute each way isn't worth it. He was so p*$$ed about RTO when I spoke with him. (I have medical accommodation.)

I lucked out. Haven't been in yet. For my job, we have to have specific office set ups and our building management hasn't bothered to set up the defined spaces as agreed. And even once those spaces are set up, there are only 5 for 10 people.

At this point I've been told not to come in to the office even on days when I don't need the equipment just in case someone calls out sick in another state and I need my equipment to cover for them. Once we get our 5 spaces, we're going to go on a rotation schedule. And maybe, just maybe we'll get more space in the future...

How this wasn't figured out in the many past "false start" RTO dates is beyond me. But I'm happy to stay home as long as needed to ensure I have the tools necessary to do my job.

Less than last Monday for sure. Only one of the upper management people in my building were in. Last Monday it was all 8. None of them have shown up today yet. I call managers in other LOBs and haven’t talked to a single one that was in the office. They were all remote.

Same as two years ago except we had consultants dialing into meetings from their stalls as an added benefit.

So much collaboration looking at all the empty cubes around me, had a nice conversation at the water cooler with a paper cup.

It was dead. I was bored out of my mind. Bathrooms smelled. Fat dad bod men sitting on the toilet browsing their phones. Pi-s all over the urinals. Cafeteria had lousy food and nasty coffee.
