Thread regarding IBM layoffs

I think IBM used to be like this? Unfortunately this is no longer the case.

“Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.”

― Richard Branson

I think that answers the question about how "Big Blew" has changed!

And that's why IBM looses clients at or before contract end

95% of companies in Germany have this philosophy. Workers are happier there.

We have turbo neo-liberal capitalism here, we will all go nuts.

Although I am retired I know from clients I trust that IBM now spend more time trying to close complaints, than actually fixing the underlying issues. Not a good sign.

When I worked for shithole IBM I saw instances where clients came last. Eg: After pointing out that the shithole software we were making was giving wrong results I was chastised by other employees because the issue wasn’t planned for the current sprint. So even though the product was live… Fu-k the client, the employees weren’t gonna fix it. And I got in big trouble by management.

So sc--w all the platitudes about who comes first.

If it comes from shithole IBM it’s probably sh-t. What else would you expect to come out of that ho-e?

Employees are the least valuable asset in IBM.

In IBM it is 1) executives, 2) shareholders, 3) clients and 4) employees!!! Complete opposite of what it should be!!!
