@62ag A canadian neighbor? I heard from some friends there that is a delay or longer wait, but that is to be accepted. Is privatized health popular there for immediacy? Thoughts if so?

No, Farley is not especially competent, along with the rest of the senior "leadership". They've all had plenty of time to do something great and fumbled pretty much every single thing relentlessly. However, Farley and the rest of the bunch are merely symptoms of the real problem. The real problem, of course, is Bill Ford and the Ford family. Until the Ford family is excised from the company, nothing will change.

First thing an alcoholic has to do is to admit they have a drinking problem. That is not the case with our senior management. Instead, they blame the troops. Farley was hired because he was supposed to be some marketing "GURU". In his time at Ford our market share declined, and we retreated out of certain markets and segments here in NA.
I have heard both Farley & HAU talk about reducing complexity. They were in position when our complexity was getting out of control. They did nothing to reduce it. Fusion alone had 32k different combinations to Toyota 32. That is a senior management call not the LL6 on down. He is right we do not have the talent and leadership at the top levels. until that changes, we will continue to repeat the same mistakes. In 2017 they offered Marketing and purchasing nice packages. PD & ME were not allowed because we were told we were critical. The trust and morale are the lowest I have ever seen it. Nobody believes a thing JF or his team say. BTW Farley was sober when he said these things.
