The most gratifying thing about the whole Dinobaby Debacle other than the fact that the boneheads actually documented discrimination is knowing that none of this would have ever come to actual litigation had IBM not chintzed out. If they didn't change the severance from 2 weeks for every year to 1 month total, at least 98% of the litigants would have signed and taken the package. There wouldn't be enough plaintiffs for any lawyer to even care. But they had to be complete d bags. It was bad enough what they were doing It was so apparent to anyone that worked in an office. But their audacity made them have to do the double $crew And that made people resentful One told me If they hadn't changed it and gave me the 11 months pay I would have danced out the door. But after too many years of BS I wasn't going to give up my legal rights for 1 months pay. Now he might get over 200x what they offered!!! I hope they all win.

Scanning the leaked documents it appears IBM management think they found the root cause of IBM's lackluster results. It is simply the unhealthy seniority mix amongst employees.
We are many very senior IBMers who know what the proper root cause is.
I hope IBM clients and shareholders also take notice!?
This is what they are told about this issue:
"Discrimination of any kind is entirely against our culture and who we are at IBM, and there was (and is) no systemic age discrimination at our culture"
... which is a public statement posted to IBM's website.
