Are managers just not engaged?

I spoke to a manager to team up and tackle new things, I got the proverbial "let me look into it and get back to you"

60 days later...and I am still waiting...are managers that aloof in Citi?

Have also had the IM ghosting treatment with a guy that I am doing his work for lol, I mean...what are we doing here collecting checks?

I’m not seeing anything constructive from the seniors.
All you get are weekly emails with them competing with each other over who can use the most buzz words in a paragraph. Often touting things like do more with less until things aren’t sustainable then be ready to outline a plan that we’ll goal you on to fix that part without asking for anything like increased staffing or training. Wait…wait where are you going? Oh, to another company….but why?
