Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Office amenities now that we are RTO.

My friend's new location has coffee machines, ice, filtered water on every floor, a gym, and a cafeteria.

Mine has tap water in the break room and a bike rack.

Anyone else have some fun disparities to report? (And How much did WF report in profits?)

@dup, I have pictures of all the packed boxes stacked in conference rooms, along the walls, anywhere and everywhere, stacked to the ceilings, with just your employee id on them, boxes with the employee id scratched out and another one penciled in, boxes with post-it notes on them stating these aren't my items, but here is what is in this box, etc. I have yet to find my belongings after over three hours searching three different floors.
These pictures will be shared.

We have a bathroom stall with a toilet so large that you have to rub in against it and squeeze in sideways to close the door.

Amenities?! I don’t even have monitors, docking station, keyboard or mouse. No exaggeration - they didn’t order equipment and don’t know when they are going to. Their answer was to tell me to work off my laptop. My manager said to keep working from home until they get some.

My office location has a fully stocked fridge, my preferred beverages, there's even a full service deli and if I go out a ways, there's a grill where the chef makes all my favorites. I still WFH since I'm listed remote.

Take pics and send to the press. Blast them all over the media. Can’t emphasize this point enough. This company will never treat their employees with an ounce of respect unless they are called out publicly.

Each building I’ve ever worked at has had water filters, vending machines and microwaves in their break rooms. The only places I have seen those missing is at branch locations. Some of those are downright scary outside of the lobby area. More than a few of them have employees sitting in the computer/network/telephone room during their break with a folding table and chairs.

I work at 4 different sites on a regular basis. I have seen exactly zero ‘floor ambassadors’ at any of these sites, and have seen trash piling up.

There should be a floor ambassador at every location that can help with your issues. If they aren't cleaning your area, there is a number that you can call and they will come clean it for you. I don't know the number off the top of my head but it's available on the our workplace page. I am sorry but that's unacceptable. As far as the amenities there is also an email address that someone should send an email to to have the coffee and other items reinstated. If i was in your location i would help you out. I am sorry most folks are having an unpleasant RTO experience, you are not alone. I hope it gets better for all of us involved. I hope everyone at least has a good rest of their week, its almost the weekend!

It's all a downgrade vs WFH, so who cares.

I’m at the downtown Des Moines location and we have filtered tap water and that’s it. Our desks have trash cans, but I sat in the same desk 3 days in a row last week and it was never emptied once. I also used about a dozen of the sanitizing wipes to clean the filthy (literally they were brown) desk after I removed the ‘cleaned & sanitized’ tag off the keyboard. I just need to wait it out 11 months and then I can retire.

I'm 45 miles from the other office in one of the biggest markets in the US. My site has several hundred people...

Are you in some obscure location or a major location like STL, Charlotte, SF, etc? That should tell you your answer. How would Wells install all those amenities in an office of about 50 people?

You have tap water?!

No running water, bathrooms are locked, break room is empty.

No trash cans at the cubes, no vending machines, no collaboration, no team members.

Wait. You have a bike rack?!

Yellow tap water and empty vending machines. Amenities galore. /s
