My team is spread across 6 cities. Not easy to party over Zoom. WF did give us free coffee and Lipton tea bags to make it more pleasant to be here.

Some people are into this kinda thing, and more power to them. It's never been my scene, not just here but anywhere I've worked. Free food is always cool, but I'll grab my goodies, make small talk in passing and head back to my desk.
Why would I want to willingly be around other people?
No, my location isn't conducive to that behavior.
Bless their hearts - my group had three events in week two. Free donuts isn’t going to entice me to spend two hours on the road. Dunkin is 1/4 mile from my house. Pass.
If you call being obligated to have lunch with your manager so he can talk about himself nonstop while everyone smiles and nods a party.

I can just imagine it now: the aroma of burnt popcorn mixed with reheated fish from the shared microwave around the corner from my could-have-been neighborhood.... ahhhhhhhh, smells like a real party to me.
I’m avoiding pretty much everyone. It’s hard enough to get work done in office. I don’t need activities and mingling in person. My goal is to keep a strict schedule and hope for at least 75% productivity from what I was achieving while WFH, but it will be hard.
Nothing but the promise of food/activities by flyers hanging in the elevators for the last two weeks.
If you count getting a new vending machine one floor up from mine, then yeah.
