The “Great resignation” seems to have left the company short on talented employees. There doesn’t seem to be any incentives to retain talent that works. You can tell that this adversely impacts aggressive deadlines. Trying to draw in new talent doesn’t seem to work very well due to the length of time it takes to process the interview.

You cannot retain or gain new talent if you a) Don't care about your employees. b). Overwork people. c.) Are unwilling to think about things differently and allow people to work from home. d). Hand out small raises and bonuses.
In my Citi world, a lot of people are retiring earlier than they expected, because they are overworked and overwhelmed.
The problem with finding the talent is the actual job posting or job submission that is. There needs to be check boxes listing all the 112 different genders.
Um…what?
