Skate to where the puck is going to be, not to where it has been.
HW, legacy SW, and services (labor intensive with very thin margins) is where the puck has been.
AI, machine learning, big data, cloud is where the puck is going to be.

Thanks for the advice. Why would AWS and Azure halt their solutions from Dell? Just out of spite or something like that. Doesn't make much sense.
Rumor has it that most of Virtustream is being laid off very shortly.
Don't kid yourself. If you are not kidding, then there's obviously an attempt of insider trading here, which I hope isn't what someone from Dell is trying to do.
Also, the comment below mine is absolutely correct. What is stopping Microsoft or AWS, etc. from halting their solutions for Dell? How might Dell pivot their strategy? The answer is that they couldn't because they currently don't have resources to do that. It would be like if Intel or AMD or Nvidia stopped selling their products and created their own computers and servers.
