Too many outstanding stocks. Don't look for a stock split anytime soon.

Let's at least get to triple digits first on the stock price. That would be a HUGE milestone. Stock splits don't mean a hill of beans unless you're a solid growth company. It's amazing to me how many ExxonMobil employees I've talked to over the years think what a wonderful thing a stock split is but it really doesn't mean much for a value stock.

80s good price range, no need for split

Y? Do people actually still believe it's "free money" like they do with dividends? Check out Berkshire Hathaway A shares. It's an accounting and PR gimmick. More slices of the same amount of pie. Perhaps at some time in the past it helped with liquidity, but today it only appeals to the Robinhooders who think they know what they're doing. Lol

You are all incorrect. Exxon actually has materials plans to do a stock split. The Corporation is only waiting it to reach $1000 per share and they will then do a stock split. Could happen at any day now…. Or week, month, year, decade or century.

These companies that do stock splits actually have stock prices that go up a crazy amount of times. Ours have been stuck since DW came onboard, so no need for stock split.

No need since we got kicked out of the DJIA.

They will never do it. They are spending their profits doing stock but backs to reduce shares.

Those companies did it because they had their stock price go up to over $1000. Why would Exxon do it at $80?
