Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Record low layoffs (other than at Fiserv, of course)

I just read an article on how the trouble with hiring has led to record low layoffs and firings. I guess our ELT didn't get the memo, though. While everybody is trying hard to keep the employees they have since they know there's nobody to replace them with, Frank and his bozos are more than happy to get rid of as many as they can. Zero foresight, zero planning for the future. All they think about are short-term savings. I can't wait for them to realize what they've done when sh-t hits the fan.

And is this you expressing your desire to stick around to see the fallout? How about prioritizing your concerns in the form of seeking out new opportunities elsewhere and doing so with no barriers. Find a work culture, salary, and work-life balance that aligns with your expectations. The job-seeking market is the greatest it has ever been. I hope you take advantage.

Sadly your ELT probably does communicate by memo. Printed and delivered to their desk
