Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Sugarcoating doesn’t help anyone

I wouldn't want to generalize, but it always surprises me over and over again how some managers are very successful at sugarcoating the facts. Is it part of their job? It shouldn't be. I don’t think any manager is better just because they are nice and people love them.

This board seems to be very tech heavy. As in STS heavy. I see references to IOC. I see references to noodling. I'm still trying to noodle on this too. Ramen. Cup O' Noodle. I dun no.

Dennis thinks everything is great. Must be if he says so. I mean, c’mon, he’s such a great leader. His list of accomplishments speaks for itself. Check it out. Extensive.

Yeah this is what I hate so much about “Schwab nice”. At TDA, people said no to your face, and you had to figure out how to convince them. And they stabbed you in the front of you were gonna get stabbed… at Schwab it’s all behind your back, constantly changing and setting things up to fail. Like the integration.

Everything is awesome and great. Everything is the way it should be. It is a glorious day at Schwab. For the Founders had envisioned it so.

I prefer managers who don’t lie to me. You’ll have a better relationship with your manager when you can both complain about the same corporate bu-----t instead of pretending like everything is great.
