Rally HSA Funding

The structure of the Rally activities is frustrating. If you can get an annual physical and do the blood draw, it’s an easy $450 but if you’re generally healthy and don’t smoke, none of the other activities seem all that appealing to fill the rest of the $800. I don’t want to leave money on the table but I’m less than enthused about a wellness coaching session to get $300.

Jump thru hoops to get? They are easy..I did all 800 worth Jan 1 and money is already in my account. Took maybe 30 minutes to complete all needed.

Just do the other challenges. Some of them are super easy like ‘’ make a to do list’ and “tidy up for 10 minutes’.

Has anyone been able to get the public challenge for $50 to work? It adds the activity for me but seems to forget it’s tied to the public challenge and it never completes. I’ve tried two

It’s free money. Be happy with whatever you can get.

Same here. My family needs the money and every bit helps (especially with WF's joke of a raise). Have earned $550 already and will have earned more than enough Rally rewards to surpass $800 cap by end of March.

Don't leave money on the table, especially if you need it.

Same - started right away on Jan 3rd. Just got the first $650 deposited in my Optum last week.

I hit the ground running this year (need $$$ to pay medical bills) and already have $650. Final amount for Jan. exam will be reported at the end of this month to reach max $800. If you think it's too much of a pain to get wellness dollars, you must not need them that much.

Tip: Make sure to click on "All Available" activities. There are so many ways to earn dollars.

Just get a colonoscopy, you know you’ll enjoy it immensely and get $ back.

Here's an easy $400: $100 watch 2nd medical video and take quiz; $50 initial online survey; $100 watch financial health video; $150 complete 3 rally missions.

I haven’t checked if these are still on there but last year the $50 step challenges were an easy way to accrue dollars if you remember to keep enrolling in the easier ones as they refresh. If you’re somewhat active you’ll eventually just happen to hit the goals for them without going out of your way to do so, so long as you’re taking your phone with you everywhere.

@lcv+1fclZR9M “free” is a bit of a misnomer when you have to jump through hoops to get it. There are a few easier ones like the surveys and videos plus the annual physical and screening but I don’t think you should have to do any of the “challenges” like the 5k steps or whatever to get an employee benefit. It’s $800/yr. They should just give it as a benefit.

There are various activities out there (or at least used to be) where you could earn HSA bucks -- e.g. walk 5k steps a day etc.

You can do a survey for $50. You can simply watch a video for $100. You can sign up for 2nd MD (just sign up, no usage) for $100. All if that takes like 10 minutes dude
