No, if you accept another position at WF during the notice period (or outside WF during the notice period and they find out about it), then no severance. After notice period, if you accept another position at WF, severance stops.
Any comments on volunteering for layoff? If a position is found during Notice period, do you still get severance? Asking for a friend 😀
No paid medical
And people still stress about giving 2 weeks notice when they quit a job. I'd give this place 2 minutes notice. Fu-k them
@1gev+1fcxNZd6, it’s worse than that! ALL of the following need to be true to qualify:
So, imagine that for whatever reason, you had tolerated a 41 mile commute to your old office. You could be moved to a new location 60 miles away but because the two locations are only 19 miles apart, it wouldn’t be considered a material change. Crazy!!! Now, I do not know if the criteria were different before.
One qualifying factor or Material change is based on location is only 20 miles change from current location?
@1oum what's the difference? Even 60 days (as required by Federal Law) would be non-working.
The notice period is a law not a benefit… they might have stopped describing it because they are under no legal obligation to describe the details. I don’t see where anything changed.
Another thread mentioned Notice Period of only 15 days vs prior 60 days. If true, that stinks.
Yeah. It mentions Notice Period, but not that it constitutes 60 days. Other negative changes, too.
Didn’t the old policy used to mention the 60 day working or no working , we always used to get the additional 8 weeks pay then the pay based on years of service kicked in
D*mn. Just read it. WF is closing every loophole. Like most things, I bet few employees read it.
Several things stood out such as if anyone thought they could use RTO as a free pass to severance, try again.
WF ain't playin!
What are the interesting changes? I didn’t have it memorized before, but i saw nothing of significance changing.
man, charlie doesn't like any of the language in this organization.
