Does anyone with experience moving stock out of the WFC investment choice in the 401k plan have a good understanding of the timing and pricing?
Note, I know it is technically a different investment than the public stock and is priced differently when you look at the price per share. However, percent change each day does follow.
So, if I want to lighten my amount in company stock:
- How does the price seem to work? Does it correspond to the closing? Or maybe the average on that day? Or just somewhere randomly in the range for that day?
- Is there a cutoff time for making a move (ex. if done by 3 pm will it use prices from same day instead of count toward following day?)
Just looking for quick insight (from an anonymous message board...lol) but I do understand I will need to make calls to get official answers.
Thanks!
P.S. - It is nice to see the stock going up even though I don't agree with a large number of the decisions being made.
