There are way too many managers than necessary in global markets. These managers don’t bring productivity. They are just good at speaking nonsense and politics. They prefer to give more opportunities to male instead of female. If you are a man, you will be appreciated and compensated. But if you are a woman, you will have harder time to recognized because of boy’s club culture.

I didn't post earlier but this is such a relevant topic. It's the same story in Global markets Risk. Too many arrogant men with no roles and responsibilities. If you are an ethnic minority woman, good luck to you. There are no opportunities for growth no matter how good you are if you don't know how to be friends with these powerful men.

Male managers are disproportionately higher than women. There are different roles where men dominate the highest paying roles. There’s definitely a “boys” club.
That's not because you're a woman, it's because you're not "in" with the "it" crowd. I know of lots of women you are "buddies" with upper management and they too get moved up. It's not a woman thing, it's a networking thing.
It is suffocating being a woman when your male manager basically give credit to all their male buddies so they get fast promotion and better pay. But they throw sh-t on you and ask you to be the scapegoat because you are not one of them.
