Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Best Job Ever

Most days I don't even work that hard. When I go out to collect carts, I'm out there for an hour. No one even notices.

I have to also help stock. I tell the lead I need a bathroom break, sit on the toilet for another hour messing around on Facebook.

Now they are training me as a cashier. I am slow as he-l... people leave my line because I am that slow (on purpose).

I Just do the very minimal to stay employed and smile my way through the day. Not a care in the world.

These guys are hilarious. I’d rather listen to them on the radio all morning than the bozos we do now.

@uxw+1fdPKkm1:

You must be drinking the management kool-aide. Come to the otherside brother. Hang out in the break room for a hour at a time.

We are helping the economy hire more people.

I offer to do go backs.

Just me, a shopping cart and tunes. No rush, walking so slow a sloth passing me is a blur.

Every time you find the home for a go back, stop and rearrange the cart to maintain balance.

Simple rules 1 item to 1 area and you must go to a new area once you drop an item in it's area. This keeps your memory sharp.

Assist members because that is everyone's job. Wait where did I leave my cart now I got to search the store to find my cart.

I do the same for carts. A lot of times they call for volunteers to get carts caught back up and no manager or lead will check because they do not want to have to leave the building.

Tell me about it. I love it here. I clock in at 4, my boys & me half a$$ it around until we open at 8. Take our 15, which really turns into an hour. We usually go up the street to get something to eat or just sit in our cars & smoke weed. When we do come back inside, we walk around laughing at the people working or watch po-n on our phones.
We then sit in the breakroom the rest of our shift.
