Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

MW if it’s not safe for you to have an in person town hall with masks and social distancing then it’s not safe for us to return to work!

Practice what you preach Mike!

Time to stop complaining and get your a-s back in the office now, if you know what’s good for you.

MW can blame the earnings miss on himself for demotivating the entire work force to get his layoff high he craves and the bad reorg aftermath.

MW loves Texas so much have the town hall here with a crew of maskless people. Would be great!

Executive leadership is very out of touch and MW is especially out of touch. He mastered corporate talk, and his love of layoffs. Hes destroyed employee trust in management. There is no need to go back into the office as we have done well working from home.

@pyl+1fdYLl7b If he's so worried about being in person to build relationships and foster such great collaboration, seems like the perfect opportunity to dial up the 'ol corporate jet and come down to Houston, where no such mandate exists. Rub elbows with the workforce here, get to know some folks, really show leadership by setting the example he wants to see. But nah, couldn't be bothered to do that. Not a great look.

You guys don't know squat. There's a state wide masking mandate in California. He would have to wear a mask if there was a live audience.

This leadership regime is so out of touch with reality and the biggest bunch of hypocrites I've ever seen in my professional career. And seriously, what are we doing to retain African American talent? I forgot those are the only people who matter with RJM at the HR helm.

You have to realize that most of the US population is elbow deep in a game of Simon Says with the oligarchy. No rational argument will ever get to them. They will do whatever the cathedral tells them to do and will castigate anyone that does not comply.

I agree. But San Ramon isn’t going back are they? Thought it was just Houston (for the US).
