I've heard from various people in different LOBs that management paid to gather employees for EOY celebrations. Significant celebrations like trips to Las Vegas.

That makes no sense at all. No one can work in the office because they are afraid of getting COVID, but they can go to Vegas? Sounds comical, honestly, but nothing surprises me anymore.
I haven’t been to a bank EOY celebration in 15 years.
