Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Let's get real

When I read some posts here, there seems to be no worse place than CS and it is ideal everywhere except here. Come on. I know people who have regretted that they have left. Of course, I also know those who are better off now. However, we should be realistic, nowhere is it ideal. It's just a matter of one's priorities.
A lot of things can be better here, but Schwab is still quite a solid place to work. No, I’m not a cheerleader, but I don’t like when people exaggerate.

I don’t think anyone green would have a problem with being bought out if it wasn’t so abundantly clear that the schwab blue way was stemmed in 90’s corporatism and making all change under the mantra of ‘through clients eyes.’ TD understood advanced technology brings advanced clients and thus operated more like a tech company. Green has the better tech, better backend and better platforms

Also 99.99% of the posters seem to be from STS and not other areas of the business.

I think the willingness to admit that things could be better or there’s room for improvement is a key difference between the leadership we have and most everyone else at the company.

If I thought things would get better over time, and I saw progress of it, I’d probably stay. Good luck trying to offer any constructive criticism.
