Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Why Dallas is moving.

I think Dallas is moving to Houston, so they can keep a closer eye on who is taking a selfie in front of the cube.

Dallas Execs moving to Campus to show us that WE3 applies equally to all.

They pushed WE3 on us, let them enjoy every day at work without even having an assigned cubicle, just one lockable drawer in a hallway.

How much does it cost to keep the Dallas Campus? Does EM own it or lease it?

If owned, the sale price might just cover the moving costs and the Houston Campus required upgrading.

Apparently the sale price is not enough to cover a severance package for the Dallas support staff that do not relocate.

They are moving because they are selling the company. They are cutting costs to lessen the price tag for the new buyer. They are not stopping people from leaving because it costs them less. Covid hit the company really hard.

Why would they care? If you are quitting they can’t do anything to you.
