@1sqg: The software development employees have a different pay and bonus schedule than the rest of the company. They have to be competitive with other companies to hire and retain people with the same skillsets.
Band 4 engr incentive was never 15%. Only managers... but even that was reduced to 10% Mips. Engr mips was reduced from 10% to 5%.
I came from Facebook and started as a manager and within 6 months became a VP of marketing in HBT. It can happen

I just signed on as well starting 4/1. Coming over from amazon to the redmond dses facility. Base offer was bumped up to $300k with 15% incentive as band 4 engineer with 5yrs experience. 5yrs at amazon is 15yrs everywhere else. Signing bonus of 10% first year and 10% second year. Forfeit if i dont stay.
First offer was ridulous so i countered with current news about amazon and honeywell lowball hr offers attached.
If you get anything less tell them to kiss off.

Bonuses are also 30% of your base salary every year.
You also have your own admin. HON will also fund your house and shopping up to 25k

I concur. Phoenix is great and limo rides are confortable.
Don 't listen to all those negative Nancy's. In Phoenix the weather is around 72 degrees all year. No need for housing with AC. Very good mass tansit. No need for car. Honeywell provides free limo's to work. HW also provides all your clothes and meals. If your working in the Phoenix area live in n a close suburb nearby that is the nicest by far. Gila Bend is a 20 minute limo ride to work and the best place in AZ.

Why are so many people all of a sudden coming to this layoff site and asking about relocation packages, bonuses, salary bands, etc.? You ask your relocation coordinator or hiring manager that question! If, as you say, you're coming already, you will receive all the financial information that applies to you and this move. This line of questioning is off-center and ridiculous!
I think it's the same troll over and over again (and please people, let's not get into their possible country of origin, it doesn't matter) trying to get comps from various companies.
