Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

No more postponements

For all the other RTO dates there was always something that made it obvious there would be a postponement. This time there is nothing. As much as I want to hope this will not be it, there is no reason for them to move the date. Unless something happens to change things, like a new variant, I'll be quitting within the next four weeks.

Don’t be sad that WFH is over, be glad that it happened.

I'm just not gonna show up.

They wouldn't dare let me go. They wouldn't dare.

Amazing after two years, the misinformation keeps flowing and the keyboard warriors keep falling for it instead of actually listening to people with actual medical degrees instead of Dr. Facebook.

Most of the demographic that dies is out of the workforce. Sounds like the drama queens will be making a self-imposed exit . Good riddance, and welcome back to reality.

Way, far more people have died from this thing than 'the flu' this year. Or last year, or 2020. People brushing it off as a simple cold or flu just need to stop.

“It’s just a cold”

Um have you seen the data with long term covid brain fog linked to Alzheimers? Yeah.. you read that right. I’ll skip the cold and keep my ability to function.

So dense, I swear.

@wuy "the flu" is a family of over 100 different versions of a virus. Covid is one virus.

That's like saying America doesn't have a g-n death problem because the rest of the world combined has more g-n deaths per year than America.

@qda

People die from the flu. Maybe you should put on 3 masks and hide in your basement the rest of your days.

"resign and open your position for those who will work in the office."

You do realize those of us that resign are simply having some of those jobs rehired overseas right? RTO is nothing more than a collective dismissal to reduce onshore headcount without paying severance or unemployment.

I loved, yes loved not loving, working from home. Unfortunately, the company let me go. Would I rather be worrying about RTO than finding another job? Definitely. I wasn’t thrilled either to go back in the office but three days a week better than the five we all did for years. If you don’t want to go back to the office, resign and open your position for those who will work in the office.

Sad that these id--ts are going to get COVID numbers up again by jumping the g-n once again. They never learn.

I feel bad for the people I know in health care that the elite keeps prolonging this for political purposes.

What's coming in the next 6 weeks will surely have folks singing a different song.
This has developed into a natural cycle of things, and some folks just don't get it or can't see it. Stand by.

Omicron is a mild cold at this point. Every strain is weaker which is the natural evolution of a virus

Does anyone not read international science journals? BA2 is shaping to be 1.5x more contagious than BA1… buckle up

Looks like the party’s over. I’d rather not go back, but working in a cubicle is what I signed up for, so I’ll just be grateful I have a job I could do from home, unlike the health care workers and so many more who didn’t have the luxury.

Can’t believe people who were lucky enough to collect their paychecks while hanging out in their pajamas for two years while so many lost so much are now complaining because they have to put pants on and go back to work.

Spoiled, selfish, entitled a-holes, every one.
