Would love to hear of the EQUITY Director has anything to say about the inflated management bonuses

I’m sure that’s a big hard no. It doesn’t fit the narrative.

May the Ford games of Fake Accomplishments, Falsified Statistics and Creative Accounting be forever played so the LL5+ can benefit monetarily.

always same story: when company is doing well, it is because of superior leadership team, they should be rewarded. when it is not doing well, it is fault of unions, unfair foreign competition, unfavorable exchange rates, retiree costs, culture, fuel prices, world politics, write-downs, various "one time costs," price of palladium for catalytic converters, etc... so leadership team should be rewarded!

The job = Give the illusion of equity
Have been thru many of these programs at Ford. The women equity initiative in late 1990s, where overnight tons of women became LL6. Interesting that the most skilled women were not promoted. I watched how that played out, nothing really changed, the goal was to promote non-threatening cheerleaders who the existing leadership could manipulate. Women were only promoted higher in non-meaningful roles, like HR director and the like.
Then there was the black promotion campaign, and the Indian promotion campaign. Each played out similarly. Go back through leadership pictures over the past 50 years and note the positions where non-white males are present, also note the duration. You will see the pattern. Sometimes a person was promoted solely to take the fall.

What does an Equity Director do? What value do they add to the profits of the company? Yet they probably got a 6 figure bonus and the rest of us get crumbs.
