No matter how tired you are and feel like kicking back and relaxing, don't. The closer the RTO gets, the more people from WFC will be applying. Not to mention, many will be applying for the same roles at other companies. The sooner you start, the better your chance of not being stuck in the office once again.

Sending out resumes now. 20k min more salary, and modern RTO options.
Also, don’t need to deal with Wells Fargo making us pay the maintenance fee for the 401k.

We have decided to make you come back in the office where you won't be efficient since you will battle for seats, wearing masks (since both vax and unvax can spread covid) and in open areas that spread disease...yay!!

I worked from home years and either exceeds or met expectations....Wells Fargo on its own canceled my work from home agreement...

Refreshed the resume yesterday and started sending it out last night. Sorry the team is already short staffed, should have thought about that before setting unrealistic expectations. My life comes first, not my job.
All the good jobs were listed 2 months ago. Shame on me for thinking when Saul says Technology can continue working remote, he would have meant it.

The exact same concept of not forcing your will on other people applies to your perspective as well. The issue is that yours is the perspective being forced on everyone else: that we all must RTO.
If the RTO was voluntary, then that’s one thing. Good for you that you want to go back in and are comfortable with that. But not everyone is. Fact of the matter is that you’re only chastising others because you agree with the decision.
If they try to RTO me they will get to remove me via performance management.
Then I'll simply explain to my interviewing manager at my next job how after a decade of above average reviews, all obtained while working from home, I got fired for being unwilling to spend an extra 4 hours a day in my vehicle, commuting back and forth to some stupid office location so I can sit there for 2 hours before they tell me to go home because the building is closed, because I'm a single parent with kids in multiple schools. Even though my work day doesn't fit a 8-5 M-F schedule.
I'm sure that termination is going to make me look unemployable. Some threat.
You guys had so many chances in the past year or so, why only now. I bet the stubborn remnants won't lift a finger to apply somewhere else now.
Learn to live with it. If you don’t want to RTO, quit. I am sick of hearing about it. If you want to wear a mask - have at it. NO ONE has told you that you are not allowed to. Quit trying to force your will on me. Life is risky; if you are that afraid to live, stay in your bubble. (Just an FYI - even in your bubble, your life will end. No one had found a way to escape death.)
And before you go there, I am vaccinated and had the booster; it was my choice. I do not have the right to force others to make that same decision or berate them when their choice is different. Wasn’t this vaccine supposed to fix everything? Weren’t restrictions on our freedoms supposed to be short term?
Or I can stay here in my comfortable, very flexible role and take all your raises and bonus dollars
too dangerous, goveners here said people dont need to work masks anywhere now. This puts people at risk so better to WFH, only option to keep this pandemic under control,. The news man thinking that is what is reducing the cases is most everyone WFH, more so than any other factor.
